Alternator wiring?

Does anyone know how to wire the alternator?  Do I need to get  the harness for the alternator from an LS400 like the rest of my stuff came from?  Or, can I use the stock 4Runner wiring and just change it up some?  I know nothing about wiring so I could use some help.  Thanks

I dunno if this helps, but here's a pic of the alternator harness from a 97 SC400.  The connections on the right go to the alternator but I'm still trying to figure out the grey & pink connections.  I think they go to the fuse box?

I imagine as long as the connection that plugs into the alternator is the same, you could probably use the 4Runner's harness.   :)
