hey, i've read here that for the 4x4 you can simply replace the tailend of the lexus trans, with the toy trans so it mates to the transfer case.

my question is, since i'm using the truck for 2wd, can i use the tailshaft from an auto trans in a 3.0 auto 2wd pickup??

i have limitied room in my 73 hilux, and if possible i would like to use a u-joint over the rubber isolator.
